Three plays explore what it means to be a woman with a voice, with live music by The Steins. Opening with an abstract collection of female voices, Lips explores a near future America. With Jade Nocturno, the show moves through time and space to a modern Mexican prison where a woman jailed for having an illegal abortion encounters an ancient spirit who died in childbirth. Ending in Argentina in 1981, Hours From Home examines the aftermath of the Dirty War, where mothers mourn their missing children.
